Adopt a Yorkshire Terrier Yorkie / Terrier / Mixed

Meet Missy, an adorable, 7-8 year old Yorkie mix.  Missy s a complete love! She is great with other dogs, adores everyone she meets and just loves to be loved.  Not only is she adorable and affectionate, she's smart, too!  She is good on leash and house trained.  Missy is extremely social, thus will do best in a home where someone is home part of the day or has another dog to keep her company during the work day.  Missy came to us from Texas following Hurricane Harvey.  Over the last few months, she has had a comprehensive dental and cataract surgery the end of November.  She is now having high pressures in her right eye and is on eye drops to bring the pressure down.  She also has dry eye, which requires another eye drop each day.  The jury is out on whether this will be a life-long condition or if it will change over time.  Currently, she will need both types of eye drops for the foreseeable future.  She'll require frequent eye pressure checks to ensure the pressure doesn't get too high.  Though there is some uncertainty with her one eye, this precious gal sees the world and all its glory and just loves life!  If you're looking for a real love bug, Missy might be the perfect match!  She is spayed, up-to-date on vaccines and preventatives and eager to find her forever lap!

?The adoption fee for this dog is $200 which includes routine vetting and spay/neuter.

Vetting of current and past pets is very important to us, thus we will be speaking with the vet(s) listed on your application to ensure that your current and previous pet(s) are kept up to date on vaccines (including rabies ) , spayed or neutered, maintained on appropriate monthly preventatives and examined annually by your vet.***
